The Business Credit Availability Program (BCAP) has ended

BCAP is a federal program that was offered by Export Development Canada (EDC). BCAP guaranteed access to financing for Canadian businesses in all sectors and regions, improving their cash flow through their bank or credit union to cover rent, payroll and other business operating costs.

The application period for EDC BCAP Guarantee ended on Dec. 31, 2021. For businesses that have an EDC BCAP Guarantee in place through their financial institution, their EDC BCAP Guarantee coverage will continue for up to five years from the loan signing date. Business should contact their financial institution for details.
